Kellogg Music Center: Bard College at Simon's Rock, Great Barrington, MA 01230
From downtown Great Barrington, turn onto Taconic Ave (the light at the intersection between the corner of Searles Castle, CVS pharmacy, and St. James Episcopal). Continue straight on Taconic, which turns into Alford Road. In less than a mile there will be signs
for Bard College at Simon's Rock. Take the first entrance (near the a stone wall and cottage)
for easiest access, although if you miss that entrance, just continue on Alford for a minute,
take the 2nd entrance (after the pond), then continue to the right up the hill.
Once on campus, look for a white church building on the circular road (top of the hill).
There is some limited parking near Kellogg, lots of parking near the Daniel Arts Center,
and also by the Student Union and the Hill House dorm
(if you continue around the circle, just past Kellogg).
Ski Butternut: 380 State Road, Great Barrington, MA 1230
Drive through downtown Great Barrington on Route 7,
then keep right to MA 183 S/MA 23 E, and Ski Butternut
will be on the right in less than 2 miles after the turn.
Below is a list of some local hotels—TripAdvisor also lists more. If you choose to stay in a nearby town - Stockbridge and Egremont are both close. Lee is about 20-30 minutes away, Lenox is about half an hour away, and Pittsfield is 40-50 minutes away. We are also close to the borders of Connecticut and New York State.
